National Kidney Foundation Pittsburgh Chapter
The National Kidney Foundation is the leading organization in the U.S. dedicated to the awareness, prevention and treatment of kidney disease for hundreds of thousands of healthcare professionals, millions of patients and their families, and tens of millions of Americans at risk.
2nd Sam 9, Inc. is a non-profit faith based day program for adults with developmental disabilities. The program provides day activities to participants at no cost. We have a program that is free from government funding and relies entirely upon the generous support of individuals, groups, churches, organizations and corporate sponsors.
Western Pa Kidney Support Group
Designed to provide support and education to kidney and kidney/pancreas patients and their families who are on dialysis, are approaching dialysis, are awaiting transplants or have received transplants. Several different meeting sites available, as is a phone support line for between meeting help. Patients, caregivers, those who've lost a loved one--everyone is welcome here.
